The rain came today
Washing all my pain away
Sculpting me to a new shape
Pushing aside fear's drape
Letting rays hit the spot
To show things I had forgot
Joy flows out of me in any way it finds
Trying to inspire that in others minds
Maybe with a picture, I see it now
I think it'll be a field, with maybe a cow
Flowers abound
Wind the only sound
The prior drought in my life had just brought pain
But that all changed with the arrival of rain
